Thanks for visiting the LAPSE blog!

LAPSE is a film that was produced in 2010. It was shot in June and carried through post-production through the late summer and fall.

Christopher Wiezorek (Writer / Director) conceived of the project as a piece that would be a peek into his style and an opportunity to bring together a talented crew from the MD / VA / DC area. Maboud Ebrahimzadeh was recruited early on to lend his guidance as the lead producer. Daryl Pittman (Director of Photography) was the eye behind the lens. Daryl's work can also be seen in festival favorite Modern Love is Automatic, directed by Zach Clark (also look out for their follow up Vacation!).

The cast was lead by Megan Therese Rippey (Lily). Megan (or Megs to her friends) is a long time friend to many of those involved in the project. She came out to the audition and knocked it out of the park. Joining her onscreen are Samantha Merrick (The Woman), Danny Gavigan (Owen), Joseph Thornhill (Zak), and Colin Smith (Davey).

LAPSE is greatly indebted to all of the cast, crew, and backers who made it happen.
